His Death Wasn't Just A Tragedy, It Was A Product Of A Criminal Justice System

The chances are you never met Aaron Swartz, the man/social justice fighter/Internet genius, but he fought for you — yes, you, sitting there in front of your computer screen or phone — for a free and open Internet. Aaron fought tirelessly against dangerous Internet bills (including SOPA) that would have led to bigger threats, and he galvanized people power to make the our voices heard.

You know how there are some people who want to change the world and those who actually do? Well, Aaron was someone who fell in the latter category, and one year ago, he sadly took his life.
