Our website switched servers and now runs blazing fast!

We finally got the Films for Action website switched over to some dedicated servers, and oh my god! it now runs blazing fast. Clicking on different subjects is almost instantaneous.

Check it out for yourself. I had no idea switching servers would have such an impact on the time it takes for new pages to load as you're browsing the site. Sweetness!

This is a great time to explore our older blog entries and films. Most of our posts don't have quick "expiration dates", so you can consider our blog and films a continually relevant resource for independent information and film, easily referenced by subject and category.

On a related note, I want to say thanks to everyone who have supported our public screenings in the past and who continue to do so. The funds from these screenings is our primary means of supporting and growing the project, and is what enabled us to afford getting some dedicated server space, along with buying new films and everything else.

So thanks again for the support. It allows us to continue our work, expanding available independent media sources in Lawrence. :)
