Hannah Fraser stars in this music film by Shawn Heinrichs which highlights the beauty and interactivity of the mysterious Manta Rays. The time of the manta rays is over, lost to greed and exploitation by humans. Hannah is a wanderer, a sea gypsy, a manta ray reincarnate as person, lost to the world.

I invite you to like, watch, share, repost and invite friends to enjoy this music film exploring the beauty of the graceful Manta Rays, and how we as humans can interact with them in a peaceful and beautiful way.
As the finale to the Manta Ray of Hope Campaign leading up to the CITES meeting in early March (a joint project by WildAid, Shark Savers and Manta Trust), we completed a very special Manta Ray project in February 2013 in Kona Hawaii, creating a film that truly captures the beauty and intimacy of an encounter with Manta Rays! Below is the first time release of our musical film, Mantas Last Dance!
Shawn Heinrichs worked closely with underwater dancer/mermaid model -- Hannah Fraser for months leading up to the Hawaii project to co-produce the unique concept for the world's first ever Manta Ray Fashion/conservation shoot. They had an extremely precise vision, however they were both apprehensive as to the chances of actually capturing this never before seen imagery. Nevertheless, they were resolute in our commitment to make it happen one way or another!
The shoot is a key element in a conservation media campaign by WildAid and Shark Savers, working together on the Manta Ray of Hope project aimed to raise serious awareness for manta rays leading up to an extremely important meeting in early March. The United Nations Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species (CITES) meets every 3 years, and 177 member nations vote on whether to grant international protection to certain highly threatened and endangered species. After 3 years or incredible effort, manta rays are finally on the voting ballot. Now is the time put in place urgently needed protection.
Our crew included:
Shawn Heinrichs, Hannah Fraser, Kristian Schmidt, Tre & Akira from Pangeaseed, Louie Psihoyos from OPS, Maria Teresa Chaves, and Eric Donaldson from BioCoastal Entertainment
