I'm Lina Esco and I'm a filmmaker living in Los Angeles. Last year I directed my first film, "FREE THE NIPPLE" based on true events about a topless group of women who bravely fought the censorship laws in New York. The film is almost done. Now we need your help to push it over the finish line and into theaters across the country...as we are facing some very challenging censorship laws!

Today in the USA it is ILLEGAL, a CRIMINAL ACT, for a woman to be topless in 37 states, in some states this even includes breast feeding. However, in New York City, in 1992 it became LEGAL to be topless in public, but the NYPD continued to arrest women anyway! I believe these laws do not reflect the dream upon which the United States was founded, and I believe Americans need to be free at all costs! So we took to the streets with our fearless cast, a film crew and armies of topless women to end this insane war on women's boobs!
Filmmaker Lina Esco And Actress Lola Kirke in NYC On The Set Of FREE THE NIPPLE.
The first week we started shooting, something extraordinary happened. Our little independent film exploded into a full blown "real life" revolution of topless women, activist groups and graffiti artists invading the streets of NYC, waging a cultural war for our personal freedom. I've spent so many years of my life on this movie, and every dollar I have to make it. We need your help to finish the film. We need you to join the FREE THE NIPPLE team. Together we can complete the film, get it into theaters and start the "real life" revolution.

FREE THE NIPPLE Topless Warriors Running Through Wall Street By The Bull!
By supporting "FREE THE NIPPLE," you become part of the real life revolution. We need new heroes. Together we can free our country from these backward censorship laws that force police to arrest women for the most basic human right, to breastfeed your child in public or to be topless on a beach. My dream is that this movie will help change the ridiculous censorship laws in this country by inspiring new laws to de-criminalize the female body.
