National Moment of Silence 2014 #NMOS14 - Indianapolis

Thu, Aug 14, 2014 7pm
Monument Circle Indianapolis - Indianapolis, IN

Please come out to observe a moment of silence and solidarity for the victims of police brutality at the Circle. No matter how many or how few, we will stand in solidarity with others across the nation taking a stand against the blatant institutionalized brutality towards black bodies! Please make signs and posters with the names of all those who have been killed by police in the last 15-20 years. Remind people. Show #Ferguson we care! Anyone interested in assisting the organization of this event or those interested in speaking about police brutality can contact me at [email protected]. WE ARE LOOKING FOR SPEAKERS. ANY COMMUNITY LEADERS, CITIZENS OR FAMILY MEMBERS OF THOSE THAT HAVE DEALT WITH POLICE BRUTALITY OR HARASSMENT. Follow the conversation on Twitter using hashtag #NMOS14. You can also find us organizing on Twitter as well @newLEESonlife @IndyFeminists @ellehoneybee @JadedJaguar @CircleCityStyle
