Native American families in Western New York continue to feel the impact of the Thomas Indian School and the Mohawk Institute. Survivors speak of traumatic separation from their families, abuse, and a systematic assault on their language and culture. Western New York Native American communities are presently attempting to heal the wounds and break the cycle inter-generational trauma resulting from the boarding school experience. Unseen Tears documents testimonies of boarding school survivors, their families, and social service providers.

Is access to clean drinking water a basic human right, or a commodity that should be bought and sold like any other article of commerce? Stephanie Soechtig's debut feature is an unflinching examination of the big business of bottled water. From the producers of Who Killed the Electric Car and I.O.U.S.A., this timely documentary is a behind-the-scenes look into the unregulated and unseen world...
Disturbing, powerful and emotionally devastating, Tears of Gaza is less a conventional documentary than a record–presented with minimal gloss – of the 2008 to 2009 bombing of Gaza by the Israeli military. Photographed by several Palestinian cameramen both during and after the offensive, this powerful film by director Vibeke Løkkeberg focuses on the impact of the attacks on...

Ron English's billboards force the man on the street to look twice...or maybe three times.
As the 2007-08 presidential campaign cycle offered up the usual slate of Washington insiders, Ron Paul, an obscure Congressman from Texas brought an alternative voice that challenged the political establishment. Advocating a philosophy of sound money, a non-interventionist foreign policy, strict Constitutionalism, and individual liberty, Dr. Paul inspired a unique grassroots movement...
As seen on Fox Seuss, the conservative Lorax schools a naive boy on the virtues of free-market capitalism. Note from the Ed: The only thing we didn't like about this is the brief but seemingly irrelevant inclusion of "End the Fed" just because it's a book by Ron Paul. The goal of abolishing the Federal Reserve is a fairly obvious solution that both progressives and libertarians are in...
Speaking truth to power unseen since... just about ever... Mr. George is clearly not happy.
Both political parties are controlled in America. This is a fact. The so called "Top Tier Candidates" (who are pushed the most through the media) are right behind the military industrial complex. To see candidates that truly represent the people and not corporate interests, one must look to Ron Paul, Dennis Kucinich, Bernie Sanders and Mike Gravel.
This video attempts to shed some light on the media coverage and accusations surrounding Ron Paul; specifically in regards to what happened in the May 15th GOP debate. Part 1 of 2. See the YouTube menu after the clip ends to view part 2. PS - This video is not an endorsement of Ron Paul. It is simply providing a good example of media bias and the techniques the mainstream news use to slant the...
In 2003, Donald Rumsfeld estimated a war with Iraq would cost $60 billion. Five years later, the cost of Iraq war operations is over 10 times that figure. And by the time the war is finished, it will be 50 times that much. What's behind the ballooning dollar signs? Joseph Stiglitz and Linda Bilme's exhaustedly researched book, The Three Trillion Dollar War: The True Cost of the Iraq Conflict...
