So why is it that people feel the need to get a photo standing next to someone famous and post it on social media to ensure we all know they met Mr or Mrs x?
Perhaps there is more to it than simply letting people know what they are up to. Perhaps they are attempting to manipulate people into thinking they are something they are not. Or maybe they are so insecure in their own skin that they feel the need to validate themselves. Or maybe none of the above.
