Cry Freedom is a 1987 feature film directed by Richard Attenborough, set in apartheid-era South Africa it chronicles the life and death of black freedom fighter Steve Biko (born 18 Dec 1946) and his friendship with white newspaper editor Donald Woods. These are a few selected clips from the film:
