Seeing Through Paulo's Glasses: Political Clarity, Courage and Humility

Short documentary on the Brazilian educator and philosopher Paulo Freire.

Best known for his book "Pedagogy of the Oppressed" he is considered one of the founders of the critical pedagogy movement.

From the film: "Teaching is a political act. Paulo argued that teachers should embrace this dimension of their work and position social, cultural, political and philosophical critiques of dominant power at the very heart of the curriculum."
