Diaspora Babes (2021)

Shanice and Hind are Diaspora Babes. Born and raised in Europe to African parents, their identity has always been in a state of limbo as they have been exposed to conflicting cultures and have had to navigate black and brown womanhood in a white world. This experimental documentary attempts to show a slice of the young women’s lives through honest conversations they had between themselves and the director who shares a similar identity.
