Clean, safe, cheap, abundant thorium energy

By Gordon McDowell / thoriumpetition.com
Clean, safe, cheap, abundant thorium energy

Thorium is readily available & can be turned into energy without generating transuranic wastes. Thorium's capacity as nuclear fuel was discovered during WW II, but ignored because it was unsuitable for making bombs. A liquid-fluoride thorium reactor (LFTR) is the optimal approach for harvesting energy from Thorium, and has the potential to solve today's energy/climate crisis.

Please take the time to look at the liquid thorium energy petition.  Imagine clean, safe, cheap, abundant, non polluting energy that recycles nuclear waste and even produces rare isotopes for space probe fuel and improved chemotherapy! Not to be confused it with solid thorium energy. If you would like to get more involved or want more info I can point you to lots of groups, videos, debates, etc.
