It's True!

"Morality has lead us to accept what we cannot change, and to think that there are things we cannot change."

It's True!

It´s true!

The weakness of men is not found in its mortality. No, men and women should not be allowed to live longer than the years we already live. If we can cause this amount of distress with the time we are given today, imagine what could happen if we each lasted an eternity. No, honestly the earth would not be able to handle.

The weakness of men is not found in an empty stomach. No, slavery showed that if anything it makes us angrier, more violent. Hunger is the only thing that had led to revolution everywhere. Hungriness has only made us stronger.

The weakness of men is not found in its isolation. Our natural, chemical, biological instinct of survival will never let us die without giving a fight, especially when we are alone, especially when is just you against your will. It is not a competition, it is a necessity. An uncontrollable purpose and goal of persevering.

The weakness of men is not found in its vanity. Aesthetics has pushed us throughout history not to do beautiful things, but to find beauty in amazing things. The pyramids, the roman statues, the Pompeii murals. All part of an endless circle of art working alongside vision, passion and ambition. Even nature understands the concept of beauty. Men and women do not become feeble after pursuing meaning in the visuals because it challenges our intellectuals. Men and women from all professions, at one point in their lives most consider a purpose in their existence to make it beautiful, enjoyable and meaningful.

No, the weakness of men it is actually found in its morality. Morality has led to us to silence, and silence has allowed evil and greed to rape this world in so many different ways. Morality doesn’t led us enjoy the most beautiful things in life because they have called it the seven sins. Morality has filled us with pressure, imaginary rules, and unwanted recipes for life. Morality has lead us to accept what we cannot change, and to think that there are things we cannot change. Morality is the root of an insecure system. Not educated to think but to follow. Ethics is used to have some sense of decency, honour, and/or respect. Morals are used for when you are unsure. It´s true! The common moral is always the safe card, and even though it can backfire and very often it will, we keep reproducing ideals that we might not agree with, because it simplifies the complex thoughts and process that go through our mind. This has led to the biggest voluntarily (meaning purposely) mass extinctions in the history of the planet. Morality´s own nature has pushed us to ignore the wrong in everything. And we keep passing the torch because it is comforting. Because it feels more peaceful than our crazy´s head wild thoughts of going against the systems sometimes to prove that good deeds exist. But the thing is, there is something morality can´t handle, men strength: love. It’s true! When loving life, courage is a given. All prophets, always loved. Because love is the most vulnerable form of humanity. And our humanity is mortal, hungry, lonely and vain. It´s true!
