Michael Nagler, founder of Metta Center for Nonviolence and author of The Nonviolence Handbook: A Guide for Practical Action, speaks about the relationship between Homer's Odyssey and the development of violent culture. Nagler is Professor emeritus of Classics and Comparative Literature at UC, Berkeley, where he co-founded the Peace and Conflict Studies Program.
