The Lost Gift - a Film by Asmakam

Children are the best gift......Then? Abeer is a 9 yr old boy who is going through a lot in his daily life. He expresses his feelings in his diary and questions the beliefs and false expectations that our society has from children. One day, he takes a drastic step which traumatizes his parents and leaves them in a fix. Abeers story will make us remember that our children are truly the best gift from God. A gift that we take for granted. A perfect gift that society tries to alter.

"Very sensitively done and makes the point."------ Mansoor Khan, Film Director (director of 4 big hit movies Jo Jeeta Vohi Sikandar, Akele Hum Akele Tum, QSQT and Josh and produced many more) ---"Beautiful. An eye opening reminder to loving but concerned parents - concerned that their children MUST be competitive, unknowingly causing an early loss of enjoyable and creative childhood."------ Prof. D.B Phatak (IIT Bombay, India)
