What does spirituality mean in a secular society? How can we relate to the feelings of people from other social groups? Artist, philosopher, and activist Ezra Niesen shows how art can be used as a window into spirituality. Spirituality is personal, but we are all human beings. Part of environmental science has been the study of psychology building up from the universal foundation of human biology. Secularism and democracy are inseperable, because democracy allows people in minority groups to use evidence to support their points of view, instead of being ruled by the majority unconditionally. Mr. Niesen shows that by recognizing how intelligent human beings think of different ideas and feel different emotions in different situations, we can talk to each other constructively about our deepest feelings.
This compelling documentary connects Secular Humanism to everyday life. Created with the help of the Secular Freethought Society of Arizona State University and Mr. Niesen's theatre company, Come As You Are Entertainment.
