Pick It Up

3

Kerstin woke up every day before the sun came up.
Waiting for the dawn near some rocks, she puts gloves
and walked the same stretch of beach picking up garbage.
After an hour, she cleaned the 200 meters of beach.
He ended sad and frustrated to see such indifference of human beings and their environment.
Then she puts all the garbage on the boardwalk for people to see and question it what was all that.

Kerstin did this without telling anyone, with no other intention than to clean the beach every day.
She did it because she felted necessary, she felted embarrassed and part of the problem.

We made this video to register it and communicate the message.
The pollution, not only on the beaches, requires us to gain awareness and consciousness.

Understanding that the beach, streets, public spaces are not our trash can, doesn't seem so complex.
However it costs us so much, and still, we talk about evolution.

Be part of the change, a positive spread,
Put that paper in your pocket,
and your waste to the trash.
