Living Positive

The Safe Water Aids Project (SWAP) is an organization based in Kisumu, Kenya, that strives to improve the quality of life for locals who are living positively with HIV as well as those who do not have access to clean water. Their mission is to improve the quality of life by educating those on the importance of hygiene and supporting them to develop profitable, health oriented micro-enterprises.

“Living Positive” follows Rose, a successful community health provider (CHP) who has been working with SWAP for 10 years. Rose sells water purification products door to door as well as educates people on how to live a long healthy life with HIV. Rose has been HIV positive since 2004 - she runs a local HIV support group in her community. Rose devotes her life to helping others and providing for her two children.
