We're Back!

By Tim Hjersted / filmsforaction.org

If you've been by the site recently you've probably noticed the site's been acting a little funky here and there, with site updates being less frequent the last week. Why all the funk you ask? Well after noticing that the site had been running slower than it should have been, and getting a few comments from viewers noticing the same, we decided to move the website to a better server to speed things up. Tragically! ...this happened to leave us unable to update the site while we transfered the database and updated the code to work with the new server system. Massive kudos to Eli Dragen for getting everything back up and running. I was around him working on it just enough to fully appreciate the often tedious and mystifying work of wading through lines of matrix code to figure out what's causing a particular code error.

If you tried subscribing to our newsletter recently and it didn't work, it's working again so go ahead and give it a go. The good news!?: the website should run blazing fast now and returns with regular updates on our blog and online films page. Look forward to some amazing videos on ecological design and sustainable-focused solutions coming in the next couple days. In other news - check out this months' films airing on public access. (Hotness!).
