The Lawrence Food Garden Tour is dedicated to educating the community about the many ways people can grow food inside the city limits.  Now in its fourth year, the tour showcases a wide variety of urban food systems including:

  • Community gardens
  • School gardens
  • Small personal gardens
  • Container gardens
  • City chickens
  • Large personal gardens (up to a whole city lot)
  • Commercial gardens/farms
  • Small-scale aquaponic gardens

You can find updates on this year's tour including bios of the participating gardens, pictures of gardens that will be on the tour and more on facebook (come be a fan!).  We look forward to seeing you there!
