Bullying The Court is Young Actors Theatre’s Social Issues troupe. We know as children develop into adults they can face a variety of challenges that put roadblocks in their path to success. Through The Court, we tackle these issues head on and educate our students and the community about alcohol, drugs, violence, bullying, teen dating violence and a variety of other important issues. This bullying performance was written via a collaboration with NoExit Performance and local youth, is performed solely by youth actors, and has a post-performance interactive session facilitated by a health professional. Audience members will see a fresh, bold and relevant play that has the power to empower youth through the truth of live theatre. Issues Involved: Bullying, depression, violence Age Restrictions: Suitable for ages 11 and above About Young Actors Theatre We create theatrical opportunities to instill confidence, creativity and discipline in youth. Our goal is not to produce professional actors, but to produce successful members of society who have the skills necessary to achieve their dreams. www.yatkids.org
