Lakota Girls is a family-friendly film shot in South Dakota and Indiana. In this story, race relations through the eyes of children spans 120 years. Indiana filmmaker, Molli Elliott Cameron, presents her first script, directed and co-produced the project. The movie is 94 minutes with a Q & A following. This heart-warming story tells the true story of Cameron's great-grandmother, a teacher from Indiana, who moved to South Dakota 100 years ago. Lakota Girls is a multi-generational experience with Native Americans, the beauty of the Black Hills, and horses of the plains.
