Summer is in full swing, and gardeners are planting, picking, pruning, and weeding. Maybe you've been too busy to plant, don't think you have the space, or think it's too late in the season. Perhaps you are looking toward winter and dreading a time when you can't enjoy any more freshly-picked salads, or, maybe you just want to brush up on your container gardening skills. If any of this sounds like you, then you will definitely want to attend our class, Container Gardening for All Seasons. The first part of this class will cover soil, container choices, fertilizer, sun, and container-friendly plant varieties (including ones participants can plant now and enjoy this fall!). Afterward, prepare your taste buds for a cooking session where participants will make a unique summer salad and learn about baking with herbs. This class will take place at South Circle Farm, in partnership with the knowledgeable folks at Fall Creek Gardens: Urban Growers Resource Center. Space is limited.
