The Dark Side of Chocolate

Thu, Feb 21, 2013 7pm
2491 Summit St, Columbus, OH 43202 · Cost: 5

We would like to invite you to attend our next Human Rights Film Series screening -  The Dark Side of Chocolate on Thursday 21 February, 7 pm at Wild Goose Creative. Please see attached flyer!

The Dark Side of Chocolate exposes the ongoing use of child, forced, and trafficked labor in the West African cocoa industry and explains how much of this cocoa ends up in the chocolate we eat.

Following the film, The Salvation Army will lead a discussion and you will have the chance to take part in anti-trafficking actions. And if that's not enough, this event will include FREE FAIR TRADE CHOCOLATE!!!

The Films For Action OH: Human Rights Film Series screens films on the third Thursday of the month at 7 pm. Throughout 2013, each film will focus on a different human rights issue from around the world that directly impacts your local community. Each screening will be followed by a discussion and action led by local non-profits. For each event there will be a suggested donation of $5
