The worst thing that the British government is doing today is supporting the Saudi-led intervention in Yemen’s civil war.  It should be a national scandal, but at the moment, it isn’t even an election issue. David Wearing teaches Middle East politics and international relations at the School of Oriental and African Studies. His doctoral thesis was on UK relations with the Gulf Arab monarchies.
