The World Is In Trouble, But After Watching This All I Can Think Is How Beautiful It Is

Gorgeous cinematography without words, very reminiscent of Baraka or Samsara. The film-maker's summary is below. - Films For Action

"From October 2011 to October 2012 Mel, Casey and myself set out to film a documentary titled Occupied Cascadia. With open minds and hearts our lenses focused on the land base of Cascadia and the peoples residing within it. A life changing experience for all of us indeed. World views altered, ideologies and expectations shattered. Our intentions although biased, merely sought to show the realities that the earth and its people are faced with today.

Simply put, through film, through our eyes, our experience, we observed all that the land had to offer us. The pain, the grief and sorrow, and all that is beautiful and magnificent, participating and experiencing...always.

This 6min short is a collection of video taking within the year it took to make OC. The imagery is symbolic of a journey seeking the innermost depths of our outer experience. Our vision, our love, our will, our gratitude, our prayer.
