Will This Be the Moment that World Leaders Finally Wake Up?

Part 1   Part 2

Addressing the UN Climate Talks on behalf of the Philippines, Yeb Sano didn't hesitate to connect Typhoon Haiyan to climate change and the fossil fuel industry's role in fueling the crisis. While he almost breaks down at several moments during his speech, his powerful words speak volumes to the reality people are facing right now.

At the end, his words brought the whole room to their feet. Hopefully it will bring the rest of the world's, too.

"We can stop this madness, right now, right here."

Part 2 is a longer version of his speech.
