Stolen Wages

Stolen Wages is a short documentary aimed at creating awareness about the ongoing demand by the Aboriginal community for the return of wages that were withheld from them during the years 1905 to 1972. A period where the Australian Government had made the decision to withhold up to 75 per cent of wages earned by Aboriginal workers. In 2012 the WA Government paid maximum $2000 claimants to some of those impacted, but many where left without any compensation at all.
