S. Brian Willson is an American war veteran who discovered the truth behind the US government’s illegal support for wars in Viet Nam and Central America. In expressing his own views about peace through non-violent actions, Brian paid a heavy price. On September 1 in 1987, in a peaceful demonstration he sat on the tracks to protest the Naval weapons train carrying missiles and bombs bound for Central American countries for use against peaceful civilians. The train did not stop and struck Brian, tore off his legs, and cracked his skull.
Miraculously, Brian recovered just weeks after the incident and today walks everywhere on his prosthetic limbs. Today, as he began more than 40 years ago, Brian continues his efforts to fight for peace protesting against illegal American wars and other covert military actions against peaceful sovereign states and peaceful citizens internationally. This film will document his journey with some of his compatriots.
