Across the country there is a massive shortage in showers and toilets for the homeless. In San Francisco alone, there are 16 shower stalls for teh 3,100+ people who make the streets of the city their home.
Lava Mae is nonrprofit project working to address this problem by putting mobile shower and toilets on retired transportation buses.
