This was a global student animation awards winner in 2006. Produced by Greg Gunn, Casey Hunt, Reza Rasoli - Otis College of Art & Design. Editor's Note: Of course, it's worth noting this video suffers from "The Great Forgetting," which is common to most of the civilized world. What took place during The Great Forgetting 10,000 years ago? We forgot that 'our' particular style of civilization - the kind that grows and dominates and expands continually - is only one type of civilization. We forgot that humans lived without overtaking the planet for hundreds of thousands of years, and also that many other civilizations existed that did not destroy their land base, necessitating constant expansion. So we actually don't have a case of the humans, we have a case of a very toxic cultural idea, that has infected most of the human population. Fortunately, more people are waking up every day -- cured of the belief that "there is one right way to live and all should live as I do." People are realizing: "there is no one right way to live." And it is this peace-keeping world-view that I can only hope will be the next viral idea to take over humanity.
