Black Block (2011) (trailer)

First-person testimony of the police brutality around the G8 summit in Genoa, Italy, in 2001. Told by Lena, Niels, Chabi, Mina, Dan, Michael and Muli - who experienced the violence in the raid on the Diaz school and the torture at the Bolzaneto detention center - this film is a testament to them all and a damning indictment of a system that talks about freedom and democracy but that is predicated on control and violence. English subtitles throughout.
