A feature-length, animated documentary about the evolution of visual language throughout history. As we are increasingly exposed to mediated realities, it is crucial to understand the history, purpose and mechanisms of representation.
"Beware of Images" explores the subject from three different, but interdependent, historical standpoints: Technology, Regulation and Effects. The film is divided into 14 chapters that touch on diverse yet interconnected subjects. From the cave paintings to video games, the audience will be taken on a journey that is at once fascinating, harrowing and hopeful.
Our mission is to generate an engaging and respectful dialogue around the subject of media literacy.
