Do you think you are a refugee?
Do you want to know how to ask for international protection in Italy?
AsylEasy is a free and independent multilingual videoguide created by the Italian NGO Arci Catania. With the aim of facilitating access to fundamental information about the asylum procedure in Italy, the short videos explain a complex system through simple language and images. The nine AsylEasy explain what international protection is, how to claim asylum, what to do during the Commission interview, how to make an appeal, what the Dublin regulation is, and what to do if you are an unaccompanied minor.
The videoguide aims to empower migrants and asylum seekers to inform themselves about their rights and responsibilities, but it is not intended as an alternative to legal advice.
The videoguide is available in 6 languages: English, Italian, French, Tigrinya, Farsi and Arabic.
You can find all the videos and the additional audio recordings here: www.asyleasy.com
The videos were created during a series of non-formal education workshops, involving asylum seekers and unaccompanied minors in each step of the creative process - from creating the storyboards and drawings to the filming!
