Solidarity Action in Front of the Greek Embassy in Support of VIO.ME Workers

In response to the call of the workers of the occupied factory VIO.ME in Thessaloniki for international solidarity against the attempts of the Greek state to ruin the workers control of the factory for household chemicals, albeit with a few days delay, we expressed our position with a symbolic action in front of the embassy Greece in Sofia. The case in Thessaloniki court was scheduled for November 24 and was postponed due to the blockade of the courtroom by hundreds of activists supporting the workers.

Open Letter

We, the members and supporters of Autonomous Workers union (ARS), declare our support and solidarity to workers from the occupied factory VIO.ME in Thessaloniki.

We express our strong protest against the intention of the Greek authorities to take the  factory from the workers through legal holds and schemes such as auctioning the land on which the building is constructed.

Solidarity is our weapon!
