Wind Power, Not Trump Power
By Andrew Butler / facebook.com

Donald Trump has declared war on wind farms! So why is the world’s biggest windbag in a flap? Well, if you were on the 12th hole of his golf course in Scotland and stood on your tippy toes and squinted out to sea you might just see some of the offshore wind turbines that are planned to be built there. This would, of course, ruin the view. I mean how can you enjoy your game, played on a course that has destroyed dunes of international importance and blighted the lives of a community that has lived there for generations, if there are wind turbines turning several kilometers out to sea? Poor Donny, sometimes it’s hard being a billionaire bigot.

Donald wants to preserve a way of life that benefits him and his friends, no matter what the cost. He has pledged to bankroll a campaign against clean green energy and is used to buying his way to whatever his dark little heart desires. But we aim to show him that not everything is for sale. We stand for real renewable energy from the elements (wind, wave and sun) and against the interests of the few greedy, selfish egomaniacs imposing their twisted agendas on the world.

People Power will trump Trump.

What To Do

Rally - POSTPONED

Astroturfing organizers of the anti-wind rally have postponed their event due to bad weather - including high winds! The Wind Power Not Trump Power facebook page will provide updates if and when this is rescheduled, as well as keeping an eye out for other Trump anti-wind activity.

Where: British Consulate,  845 Third Avenue, New York, NY

When: T.B.C.

Why:  Anti-wind interests have organized a protest outside the British embassy in New York "in order to protest wind turbines that are being built in Scotland and England." Sadly for them it seems like there are not many supporters for their cause. So they've taken to advertising for paid "volunteers" on Craigslist*. Although the ad doesn't specify who's behind the protest, it has all the greasy hallmarks of Mr. Fart, sorry Trump. We think it would be nice for those in favor of clean renewable energy and those against greedy rich megalomaniacs to have a rally at the same time and place as theirs. There's no money in it for you, but just think of Trumps little red face when he's outnumbered at his own demo. Come on, it's worth it for that alone.
