Don’t know where to start your holiday shopping? Come join some of San Antonio’s most unique entrepreneurs for a one of a kind retail experience - OPEN! OPEN is a downtown pop up retail initiative of the City’s Center City Development & Operations Department in co-operation with property owners and retailers to offer small businesses and local entrepreneurs the opportunity to test the downtown San Antonio market for the holiday season. Pop Up shops raise awareness of the different commercial properties available downtown and help promote spaces to potential long-term tenants. Downtown residents, visitors, and workers will all have an exciting opportunity to support local entrepreneurs and help authenticate downtown as a vibrant urban space for retail. DATES AND TIMES OPEN runs from December 2 –December 30. Stores will be open from 12 – 9 p.m. on Tuesdays and Saturdays. RETAILERS 2014 Participating Pop Up Shops: Retailers will rotate storefronts to display everything from art, wine, jewelry, pet accessories, clothing, and culinary treats this holiday season. The participating businesses will be announced at a December 2nd Press Conference. LOCATIONS The pop up shops will be located at four (4) locations along E. Houston Street and E. Travis Street. The Book Building, 140 E. Houston, Suite 40 & 41 The Milam Building, 115 E. Travis St. The Schaum Building, 231 E.
