We're excited to announce that Films For Action is coming to Port Townsend, WA.  Gordon Clemans, 360-344-2854,  is kick-starting the local chapter. For those that are new to Films For Action, it is a local and international organization dedicated to providing information and perspectives essential to creating a more just, sustainable, and democratic society. Along these lines we can become many things.

In Port Townsend, first and foremost, we will present progressive documentary films.  Later we might further serve the mission of Films For Action to become an alternative news center, a problem/solutions learning library,  an activist hub,  a solutions and actions incubator and instigator, and a megaphone to amplify the voices of  movements working to change the world. Together, all of these efforts tie into the Films For Action mission to create the media infrastructure necessary to  accelerate transition to a sustainable world.

The Port Townsend chapter is currently researching venues, video projection equipment, and the best of the best of the extremely plentiful supply of progressive documentary films.  We hope to present our first film in Spring of 2017 at a site in or near downtown Port Townsend.  Please call Gordon if you have questions or information to share.
