The Coffee Shed at the Surrey Place Centre has two operational worm composters and it was once again time for a Harvest Party. Volunteers and composters came out to see what the worms have done and how they have helped clean up our planet. Red wiggler worms are playing an ever-increasing role in waste management and soil production. Vermicomposting is a sustainable solution to climate change and it is food security 101. It is ESSENTIAL that we learn how. If you have yet to visit www.cathyscomposters.com, We recommend you do now and join in one or more of the events.
