Join Breast Cancer Action and me at a FREE screening of Pink Ribbons Inc. in Indianapolis! Pink Ribbons Inc., has been called “powerful and incendiary” by the Toronto International Film Festival . . . I call it game-changing! It's a hard-hitting documentary that pulls back the pink curtain to reveal why mainstream approaches to ending the breast cancer epidemic are failing. As one woman living with breast cancer in the film says, “Our disease is being used for people to profit. That’s not OK.” The film spotlights BCAction’s Think Before You Pink® campaign and highlights its legendary former executive director, Barbara Brenner. For more than ten years, BCAction’s Think Before You Pink campaigns have challenged pinkwashers and urged people to ask critical questions about breast cancer fundraising. We’re thrilled to see this message go mainstream in such a provocative way. Directed by Léa Pool for the National Film Board of Canada Light refreshments provided Freewill offering will be taken to support the work of Breast Cancer Action, a national nonprofit working to end the breast cancer epidemic forever.
