July 14: Indy City Council clean air resolution announcement
Clean air and clean water matter to us all. That's why a bipartisan group of Indianapolis City-County Councillors have come forward to introduce a resolution calling on Indianapolis Power and Light (IPL) to stop burning coal at its Harding Street plant by 2020.
These councillors are committed to working with IPL to put an end to the pollution that plagues our city, to prioritize investments in clean energy, and ensure a just transition for our community.
Please RSVP now to join with other Indy residents in support of a proposed resolution to protect Indy's air and water from harmful coal pollution.
