Hoosier Rising for a Fair Minimum Wage and Workers' Rights

What is it? Elected officials, low wage workers, and community leaders will be speaking out for fair wages and workers' rights and introducing Indiana Moral Mondays. What is Moral Mondays? Moral Mondays is a movement which started in North Carolina which drew thousands of individuals every week to that state's capitol. North Carolinians were protesting the irrefutably immoral attacks on voting rights, workers, and education. What does morality have to do with it? We believe that workers should be paid a living wage and treated with respect. Whereas special interests divide us, our basic morality unites us. Human dignity is not up for negotiation.
