NDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — The Indianapolis Colts are joining Meijer and GE to show their support for the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.

As part of the Indy Going Blue for IMPD effort, the team will provide 4,000 free blue light bulbs for local Hoosiers. The lights will be available from 4-6 p.m. on Friday while supplies last.

The light bulbs will be at the Pike Plaza Meijer — 5349 Pike Plaza Rd, Indianapolis — and Southport Road Meijer —5325 E Southport Rd, Indianapolis. One bulb per person will be available near the front of the stores, inside the general merchandise entrance.

The Colts, Meijer and GE say they wanted to organize this after hearing about the Indy Going Blue for IMPD movement and how some people were having a hard time finding the blue light bulbs
