The SkinLess campaign continues, AnimaNaturalis gathered this morning November 29 a hundred naked and bloodied activists to protest against the fur industry in the heart of Madrid. At the Puerta del Sol, activists were left for forty minutes under the rain and cold temperatures, to symbolically represent what the fur industry does to millions of animals for the pleasure and vanity of a few consumers.

Bare naked, and in metal cages symbolizing the confinement experienced by animals used by the fur industry, the militants were surrounded by hundreds of onlookers, who were informed through information leaflets distributed by dozens of activists.

"Unlike most world capitals, we still see in Madrid quantities of skins stroll through its streets. Those sensitive to the suffering of animals see in a garment of leather or fur an act of cruelty and pain rather than a luxury item. "Andrea Padilla, a spokesman AnimaNaturalis said." The vanity of some command life and death of millions of innocent beings. We cannot remain silent at this injustice, "she said.

With this action, AnimaNaturalis joined the protests made during this week in Caracas (Venezuela) and LogroƱo (Spain) as part of its campaign SkinLess meant to denounce abuse and cruel practices of the fur industry, stating that there are other ways to dress more humanely and without gratuitous and unnecessary cruelty.
