Zeitgeist: Addendum, a 2008 documentary film produced by Peter Joseph, is a continuation of the film Zeitgeist, the Movie. The film includes facts regarding the Federal Reserve System in the United States, the CIA, Corporate America and others, concluding the advocation of a libertarian movement called the Venus Project, created by social engineer Jacque Fresco. The movie was released free online on October 4, 2008. According to director Peter Joseph, the film attempts to locate the root causes of the pervasive social corruption that exists in the world, while offering a solution. Zeitgeist: Addendum consists of three parts, namely part IV, V and VI, as they are a continuation of the first film, which consisted in three parts. Part IV starts with a short summary of how the monetary supply and the Federal Reserve bank work based on the document Modern Money Mechanics: A Workbook on Bank Reserves and Deposit Expansion.

Part V has a documentary style, activist John Perkins is interviewed and presents the figure of the Economic Hitman (EHM), describing how, according to him, the CIA and the ruling political/corporate elites have worked to undermine legitimate foreign regimes who put the interests of their populations before those of transnational corporations.

Zeitgeist: Addendum won the Artivist Spirit Award - Best Feature at the Artivist Film Festival 2008. The film had it's Global Premiere during the Festivals Opening Night which was welcomed by a sold-out audience of 600 people. Festival Co-Founder Dr. Bettina Wolff stated:

The failure of our world to resolve the issue of war, poverty, and corruption, rests within a gross ignorance about what guides human behaviour to begin with. ‘Zeitgeist-Addendum' addresses the true source of the instability in our society, while offering the only fundamental, long term solution. Director Peter Joseph has the ability to take risky subject matter and turn it into a visually, emotionally, and intellectually compelling case for a "greater point of view."

i've viewed about 6 segments of "Zeit-Addend." In a flowing narrative
with visual aids it reveals how the symbol of '$' has become more im-
portant than the real wealth it represents , those being the resources and techno-
logical capacity of people within nations. The film not only uncovers global concerns , but untangles the arcane web of economics and the psychology that leads to the fleecing of populations world wide and provides convincing alternative solutions that seem plausable for our
future ; a resource rather than monetary based economic system. Bravo Peter Joesph and the Venus Project.
