Lanzan concurso para encontrar la mejor vivienda económica sustentable de Chile

SANTIAGO.- Generar proyectos sustentables ha sido la preocupación de un sinnúmero de concursos e iniciativas durante los últimos años, con proyectos que van desde objetos, sistemas de transporte hasta casas. Ahora, un concurso busca impulsar precisamente estas ideas con la primera competencia latinoamericana para desarrollar viviendas económicas sustentables.


Hablamos de "Construye Solar", un concurso desarrollado en conjunto por la ONG "La Ruta Solar", el Ministerio de Vivienda y Urbanismo (MINVU) y el Chile Green Building Council, que busca reunir a universitarios de todo Chile para presentar la mejor casa sustentable y de bajo costo para nuestra región, con el objetivo concientizar a la ciudadanía sobre los beneficios económicos, medioambientales y sociales que ofrecen las viviendas amigables con el medio ambiente.


"Es una iniciativa realmente importante, debido a que junta por primera vez a las universidades con el sector público y privado, para modificar y llevar adelante la construcción sustentable del país", señaló el Secretario Ejecutivo del Área de Construcción Sustentable del MINVU, Juan Pablo Yumha.


Este evento se desarrollará por medio de dos etapas. La primera enfocada a una exposición de maquetas que deberán presentar las propuestas de los participantes ante una serie de jueces.


De esta prueba pasarán solamente 10 equipos a la segunda etapa, quienes tendrán siete meses para construir su proyecto a escala real, a partir de septiembre de 2014. Posteriormente deberán presentar sus casas construidas en una exposición abierta al público que se extenderá por 11 días durante abril del año siguiente.


El proyecto ganador deberá responder a varios requisitos, enfocados principalmente en su construcción, su eficiencia energética, su uso de agua, la sustentabilidad de sus materiales, la comodidad que presente para sus eventuales habitantes y qué tan bien puede ser comunicado a la ciudadanía.


Los interesados en concursar solamente deben entrar a la página web de Construye Solar y llenar sus formularios antes del próximo 30 de mayo, día en el que se cerrarán las inscripciones.
