True American Patriotism Is Often Revolutionary

"Nip the shoots of arbitrary power in the bud, is the only maxim which can ever preserve the liberties of any people." / "Posterity: you will never know how much it has cost my generation to preserve your freedom. I hope you will make good use of it." - John Quincy Adams

True American Patriotism Is Often Revolutionary
Have we really all forgotten that our nation's creators advocated- and even put into law- the necessity of a moral, vigilant citizenry?

A rough timeline example of traitorous American oligarchy:

  • Hillary wants to be elected, but lacks support.
  • Time Kaine was chair of the Democratic party.
  • Debbie Wasserman-Shultz then took his place.
  • She was Hillary's 2008 run campaign manager.
  • Sanders "loses", many voters cry election fraud.
  • It's proven Debbie had a biased, rigged agenda.
  • She steps down, immediately rehired by Hillary.
  • Hillary named the nominee, despite unfair race.
  • Tim Kaine announced as Hillary's VP candidate.
  • Donna Brazile becomes the interim D.N.C. chair.
  • She's proven giving debate questions to Hillary.
  • Hillary's offended at questioning her legitimacy.

This is the state of politics and our government currently. This is what passes nowadays for hard-fought American "democracy": just continuous denial and glaring cognitive dissonance, relying purely on voter ignorance and spin. No accountability, no ethics, just a terrifyingly normalized "win by any means necessary" immoral mentality of blatant manipulation and lies. A "public and private face". There is no merit here, no greater good to be found- just rampant corruption and greed at the expense of due process, trust / integrity of the system, and We the People.

Trump is just as dangerous, thanks to Hillary. His rise is easily explained through the classic 1963 Twilight Zone episode, "He's Alive". In any other election, his Hitler-esque fearmongering and fact-bareft insincere demagoguery would be pretty obvious; but with his long-time friend / fellow millionaire 'competition' seeing to it he gets blanket media coverage (now proven via WikiLeaks), even a different flavor of fascism becomes appealing to those still buying into the corporate duopoly. Sponsored ignorance creates a populace who work against their best interests.

Neither of these con artists are remotely acceptable for the power, responsibility, and honor of holding any public office, least of all the highest in the land. Regardless of which is declared the "winner", the American public is not in any way truly represented, nor protected. So whether deemed "realistic" or not, mass rejection of this undemocratic farce is what needs to happen to avoid a full-on revolution. Neither Grandma Nixon nor Orange Hitler are in any way legitimate candidates; we cannot simply cite "sticking to established protocol" as an excuse to legitimize them.

At some point, corruption empowering corruption must be stopped, even when there's no prior precedence. Anyone who disagrees is frankly advocating for unchecked fascism of any degree, as long as all the approved timelines and routines are kept superficially intact. As our founding fathers would certainly remind us all- adhering to some trite, perceived rule of order amidst the growing oligarchic domestic terrorism isn't being lawful or patriotic. It's being obtusely complacent and failing to perform our moral, ethical, and civic duties as responsible American citizens.

The majority of this country dislikes and cannot trust our warmongering, broken, elitist government and their paid proxy public relations puppets. Rule is increasingly only being maintained through force and propaganda. What we do, or do not do today will forever go down in history as our permanent legacy. It's on our heads if we don't at least try to save ourselves and our country from catastrophic end. Complacency becomes culpability when the status quo normalizes institutional injustice, dealing daily death both here and abroad. Our collective insistence that it's all someone else's fault, thus someone else's issue, has allowed everything our nation once stood for to be subverted.

This is our right, our responsibility, and our time. America must rise together, organize, and demand fair enforcement of equal justice and transparent accountability. Because accepting anything less at this point is just validating and empowering criminal activity.
