Good morning America and Did you have your alarm set up?

Good morning America,

so you did…Congratulations! You made yourself great again.

But, dear America, I understand you. You are in pain, so you need someone who distract you from that pain — a good entertainer. A clown by your bedside that make you feel great again. Dear America, I understand your choice. Current political medicine doesn’t have a treatment for your disease, so you chose distraction. It’s funny, isn’t it? There is over 320 million of you and it all comes down to the two among you to choose from for the right medical treatment for you.

It’s funny that in a country that praise itself as the champion of democracy and freedom, you have only two choices every 4 years, to choose from. No wonder you chose a clown pretending to be a doctor, over an insider playing out a role of outsider.

You are on a dead bed, you are dying… if there’s no cure for you in current political medicine, you choose distraction — a denial, over a false treatment. I understand that. You recognized that those docs with their MD’s couldn’t save you in the past. They ignored you, mocked you, prescribed wrong pills for you and charged money you couldn’t afford to spend anymore on a treatment that didn’t work for you in the first place. You went through all this, just to find out that the chemotherapy didn’t work, it only had weakened you more and more.

You chose an underqualified clown that genuinely pretends to care for you, over an overqualified protectionist that kept telling you are just fine, even though you had cancer. So no wonder you went for the clown.

Maybe if that team of specialist in your hospital really cared for you, they would have proposed someone who genuinely cared for you and who’s medical record shows it and prove it. Someone like Doctor Bernie Sanders maybe? But I guess, you now understood that the hospital management didn’t really care about you to begin with. More than they cared about you, they cared about their own agenda. What that agenda is, is hard to tell. But I guess, they don’t mind people dying in their hospital beds, under their watch. They chose a candidate from their own board of directors and not a candidate that is there with you and other patients out there on the floor. So you went for Trump, and I don’t blame you America.

By the way, I heard you saying it’s an issue of gender and that you need women’s voice heard. I agree with you, but do you realize that Hillary Clinton wasn’t the only woman candidate? That there was an actual MD woman running? Dr. Jill Stein? …What is it? She was not qualified enough and didn’t have a sensible policies? Well, was this election about policy after all?

Anyway, dear America I don’t blame you. I blame those among you, that pretend to care about you, those that keep telling you everything is good and you are great already, those that speak to you from a high moral ground despite their own track records of wrong doings… Yeah I blame democrats.

The question now is: What the hell went wrong?

Let me answer this question, by words of Thomas Frank. Words taken from his article in The Guardian this morning…

“Put this question in slightly more general terms and you are confronting the single great mystery of 2016. The American white-collar class just spent the year rallying around a super-competent professional (who really wasn’t all that competent) and either insulting or silencing everyone who didn’t accept their assessment. And then they lost. Maybe it’s time to consider whether there’s something about shrill self-righteousness, shouted from a position of high social status, that turns people away.
The even larger problem is that there is a kind of chronic complacency that has been rotting American liberalism for years, a hubris that tells Democrats they need do nothing different, they need deliver nothing really to anyone — except their friends on the Google jet and those nice people at Goldman. The rest of us are treated as though we have nowhere else to go and no role to play except to vote enthusiastically on the grounds that these Democrats are the “last thing standing” between us and the end of the world. It is a liberalism of the rich, it has failed the middle class, and now it has failed on its own terms of electability. Enough with these comfortable Democrats and their cozy Washington system. Enough with Clintonism and its prideful air of professional-class virtue. Enough!”

Did you have your alarm set up?

But dear America I would go even further. I’d say enough with thinking within a political box of options.

You need a revolution dear America. Revolution that goes far beyond politics, as politics failed you tremendously. And Donald Trump as president is the right excuse to start it now! You need a revolution of values when politics don’t hold them anymore…

You are up for decency, honesty, equality, prosperity, sustainability? Then organize in your workplaces, organize in your community, educate yourself and don’t just really on your celebrities and elites to convince the Trump voters by mocking him and therefore indirectly mocking them — alienating them even further, on every opportunity they get. Did it really work to mock Trump on SNL every week, or on Twitter and Facebook, at the White house dinners? Did all those celebrity forced endorsement of the lesser of two evils work out in the end? Or did it serve as a distraction from your own pretentious self-righteousness? I am addressing here the democrats, the moral elite, the enthusiastic Hillary Clinton voters, the celebrities, the comedians involved in all this.

The same mistake happened in the UK few months ago with Brexit. Everything the Remain campaign had to offer was mocking the lies of their opponents instead of focusing on promoting genuine solutions for people’s disillusionment with political establishment, with political self-righteousness. Instead of listening to reasons behind the people’s anger, they treated them like their own kids by assuming the moral high ground without earning it.

The political system, not just in the US, is corroded with self-righteousness, hidden corruption, and sense of twisted morality when real voters are looked down at, like bunch of kids that don’t deserve to know the truth and handle it.

No, it was not the Wikileaks that sank Hillary Clinton. How can publishing and exposing truth ever hurt in the long run? It was actions of the people exposed in those leaks, not whistleblowers that exposed those actions, that you should point at! It wasn’t Trump who beat democrats, it was the mass of people who felt overlooked and looked down at, by them. If there are no real leaders with integrity, (as the various leaks from inside political establishment show) then maybe you should stop relying on the system that put them into place.

You need a revolution, dear America. Revolution beyond politics, a revolution of values. Thinking outside the box is just a slogan, when you are thinking within the system that has already expired a long time ago, a system that give you limited choices of control. Look for alternative way of seeing things, look for alternative was of doing things, look for alternative ways of reaching out to people. Look beyond two party system. Look even beyond capitalism itself. You own it to yourself. You own it to the rest of the world. We own it to each other.
